Mr. Zachary Holtzman
Partner
Zack has over 30 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant, both in industry and public practice.
Zack earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal and received his Chartered Accountants designation in 1987.
A founding partner in Holtzman Hunter-Moffatt LLP since 1994, Zack has assisted many clients with a full range of services from start-up to eventual sale of their successful business.
Zack is pleased to be involved in the community by sitting on a number of boards over the years including schools, religious institutions, youth groups and registered charities.
In addition, Zack has developed and delivered business and tax seminars for various groups covering such topics as small business start-up, tax topics for small business and tax topics for people with disabilities.
Zack is not your typical accountant, but then again, with partners and staff possessing a wide range of educational and business backgrounds, neither is Holtzman Hunter-Moffatt LLP.
Mr. Scott Hunter-Moffatt
Partner
Scott has been with Holtzman Hunter-Moffatt LLP since 2000 and has been a partner since 2005.
In 2004, he received his CGA and was recognized as the top CGA student in Alberta in public practice.
Scott has also earned an MBA from McGill University majoring in Marketing and a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Alberta.
With many years of full-time teaching experience at the post-secondary level (including teaching and marking for CGA and University of Cape Breton in their MBA program), Scott has strong communication skills that make a discussion with the accountant somewhat easier to understand than most people would expect.
Previous experience running his own small business and managing a non-profit organization round out Scott's skill set. With a strong accounting and general business background, Scott has a significant business consulting side to his practice. He is happy to provide advice on a wide range of money matters including personal financial planning and how to teach your kids about money.
Mr. Gordon Gee
Partner
Gordon has over 25 years experience in small business as an owner/manager as well working directly with owners as a business consultant for small and medium sized businesses.
Gordon has been involved with various small business ventures since graduating with a Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1993.
Earning the CA designation in 2008, Gordon has continually developed his skills and experience in order to better provide service to his clients.
Gordon's public practice experience ranges from being an accountant at a one partner firm where he dealt with a wide variety of small business issues to working as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Gordon was a past member of the CASB Student Advisory Council and has volunteered with other non-profit organizations.
